Courtney has been involved in the outdoor industry for most of her life. In early 2017 she joined the sporting clays industry. Hearing and sight protection is crucial in any setting, but more so when around firearms. Today, Courtney travels to different clubs and ranges providing custom molded earplugs and top of the line shooting glasses.

In 2022 Courtney was brought on to the Her Wilderness team as their South Carolina Coordinator. In addition to her custom molded earplugs, electronic hearing protection, Pilla shooting glasses & RE Ranger shooting glasses, she also plans hunting, fishing, and outdoors trips catered to women. These trips are used to introduce more women to the outdoors in a safe environment, and to help them find 'their people'.
